Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how EarnIt handles your information on iPhone, iPad, Mac and Apple Watch. EarnIt is designed so that your data stays on your own devices and in your own iCloud account. We take your privacy seriously and are committed to handling your data transparently and securely.

Data We Collect

Information You Provide

When you contact us by email (including through "Send Feedback" in the app), we receive your email address and anything you choose to include in your message. To help us solve problems, the feedback email is pre-filled with the app version, your device model and system version; you can review or delete this before sending. We use this information only to respond to your inquiry or provide support, and delete it within a reasonable period after your inquiry has been resolved.

Purchase Information

EarnIt is free to use, with optional EarnIt Pro subscriptions and a one-time Lifetime purchase. Purchases are processed entirely by Apple. The app checks your purchase status with Apple's StoreKit on your device to unlock Pro features. We never receive your payment details or card numbers, and payments and refunds are handled entirely by Apple.

Your App Data

  • What it includes: your Areas, projects, tasks, focus sessions, coins, rewards, cart, purchases, photos you attach to rewards and purchases, history, and your nickname and avatar.
  • Local storage: this data is stored on your device. We have no way to access, read, or obtain it.
  • iCloud sync: if iCloud is enabled for EarnIt, this data is stored in your personal iCloud account and synced to your other devices signed in with the same Apple Account. This is managed and encrypted by Apple, and we cannot read or access it.
  • Apple Watch: the Apple Watch app exchanges your tasks, focus sessions and progress directly with your paired iPhone. This data does not pass through our servers.
  • Widgets, Live Activities and the Mac menu bar: these show your data on your own device, using a storage area shared only between EarnIt and its own extensions.

Services We Don't Use

  • We do not use any third-party analytics tools, advertising, tracking, or statistics SDKs.
  • We do not operate any server that receives your app data, and we do not send marketing push notifications.

Information We Don't Collect

  • Device identifiers, IP addresses, advertising identifiers, or location data.
  • We do not display any advertising, and we never sell your personal data to any advertising platform or third party.

Permissions We Use

Photo Library (Add-Only)

EarnIt asks for permission to add photos to your photo library only to save images you choose to export from History. The app does not read, browse, or access any existing photos in your library. This permission is used only when you choose to save an image, and no photo data is collected, transmitted, or shared with us or any third party.

Choosing Photos for Your Avatar, Rewards and Purchases

When you set an avatar or add a photo to a reward or purchase, EarnIt uses the system photo picker. EarnIt receives only the photos you select and has no access to the rest of your library. No photo library permission is required for this, and selected photos are stored only on your device (and, if enabled, in your personal iCloud account).

Notifications

EarnIt may ask for permission to show notifications. They are local notifications created on your device, for example to remind you to save a focus session you ended from the Lock Screen. They are not sent from our servers and contain no advertising. You can turn them off at any time in Settings.

App Sandbox on Mac

On Mac, EarnIt runs in Apple's App Sandbox. It only uses network access for iCloud sync and App Store purchases, and Photos access only to save images you export.

Third-Party Services

We only use the following services, each of which maintains industry-standard security protections:

Data Storage & Security

  • Local storage: All app data is stored on your devices. We do not operate any server that centrally stores your personal data.
  • iCloud sync: If enabled, your data is encrypted and stored in your personal iCloud account, managed by Apple. We cannot access it.
  • Email communication: Correspondence between you and us is kept in our mailbox and is accessible only to our support team.
  • Security recommendation: We recommend enabling two-factor authentication for your Apple Account to further protect your iCloud data.

Your Rights

Because EarnIt is designed around local storage + sync through your own iCloud account, you have direct control over your data. You can exercise the following rights yourself, in the app or in your device settings:

  • Access and view: You can view all your data in the app at any time, with no need to request it from us.
  • Correction: You can edit or update your information in the app.
  • Deletion: You can delete any data in the app. To remove data from iCloud, delete it in the app while iCloud is on, or manage your iCloud storage in your device settings.
  • Restriction of processing: You can turn off iCloud for EarnIt to keep your data only on the device.
  • Data portability: You can export your history as an image from the History screen, or use your device's backup features.
  • Withdrawal of consent: You can withdraw permissions (such as Photos, notifications or iCloud) at any time in your device settings.

If you contact us by email, we hold the contact details and correspondence you send us. For this data, you have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict processing, port, and withdraw consent. Contact us at contact@focusbill.app, and we will respond within 30 days.

Additional Rights for EU / EEA Users (GDPR)

If you are located in the European Union or European Economic Area, the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) grants you additional rights regarding your personal data, including the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority. Since EarnIt stores your app data only on your devices and, optionally, in your own iCloud account, the personal data we actually hold is limited to what you send us by email. For that data:

  • Legal basis for processing: We process your emails based on your consent and our legitimate interest in responding to your inquiry.
  • Right to lodge a complaint: You may lodge a complaint with the data protection authority in your country of residence if you believe your data has been processed unlawfully.
  • Data retention: We keep email correspondence only as long as needed to resolve your inquiry, then delete it within a reasonable period.
  • No automated decision-making: We do not use your data for automated decision-making or profiling.
  • International transfers: Our email service provider may process data outside the EU/EEA; where this occurs, it is done under the safeguards required by applicable law.

Children

EarnIt is not directed to children under 13 and does not knowingly collect personal information from children. Because app data stays on the user's own devices and iCloud, we do not receive it.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy when the app changes. The "Last updated" date above shows the latest version. Significant changes will also be noted in the app's release notes.

购买信息

EarnIt 可以免费使用，并提供可选的 EarnIt Pro 订阅和一次性永久购买。购买完全由 Apple 处理。App 会在您的设备上通过 Apple 的 StoreKit 查询购买状态，以解锁 Pro 功能。我们不会获取您的任何付款或卡号信息，支付与退款完全由 Apple 处理。

您的 App 数据

  • 包括的内容：领域、项目、任务、专注记录、金币、奖励、购物车、购买记录、您为奖励和购买记录添加的照片、历史记录，以及您的昵称和头像。
  • 本地存储：这些数据保存在您的设备上，我们没有任何途径访问、读取或获取。

我们不使用的服务

我们不收集的信息

  • 设备标识符、IP 地址、广告标识符或位置信息。
  • 我们不展示任何广告，也绝不会向任何广告平台或第三方出售您的个人数据。

我们使用的权限

相册（仅限添加照片）

EarnIt 请求添加照片到相册的权限，仅用于保存您在历史记录中主动导出的图片。App 不会读取、浏览或访问相册中已有的任何照片。该权限仅在您选择保存图片时使用，我们不会收集、传输或与任何第三方共享任何照片数据。

为头像、奖励和购买记录选择照片

当您设置头像，或为奖励、购买记录添加照片时，EarnIt 使用系统的照片选择器。EarnIt 只能获取您选中的照片，无法访问相册中的其他内容。此功能不需要相册权限，选中的照片仅保存在您的设备上（如开启，也会保存在您个人的 iCloud 账户中）。

通知

EarnIt 可能会请求显示通知的权限。这些通知是在您设备上生成的本地通知，例如在您从锁定屏幕结束专注后，提醒您回到 App 保存。它们不是从我们的服务器发送的，也不包含广告。您可以随时在「设置」中关闭。

Mac 上的 App 沙盒

在 Mac 上，EarnIt 运行在 Apple 的 App 沙盒中，仅为 iCloud 同步和 App Store 购买使用网络，仅为保存您导出的图片使用照片权限。

第三方服务

我们仅使用以下服务，均具备符合行业标准的安全保护措施：

数据存储与安全

  • 本地存储：所有 App 数据都保存在您的设备上，我们没有任何服务器集中存储您的个人数据。
  • iCloud 同步：如果开启，数据将加密存储在您个人的 iCloud 账户中，由 Apple 管理，我们无法访问。
  • 邮件通信：您与我们之间的邮件往来保存在我们的邮箱中，仅供支持团队访问。
  • 安全建议：我们建议您为 Apple 账户开启双重认证，以进一步保护您的 iCloud 数据。

您的权利

由于 EarnIt 采用 本地存储 + 您个人的 iCloud 账户同步 设计， 您对自己的数据拥有直接的控制权。您可以在 App 内或设备设置中，自主行使以下权利：

  • 访问与查看：您可以在 App 内随时查看所有数据，无需向我们发出请求。
  • 更正：您可以在 App 内直接修改或更新您的信息。
  • 删除：您可以在 App 内删除任意数据。如需同时删除 iCloud 中的数据，请在开启 iCloud 时于 App 内删除，或在设备设置中管理 iCloud 储存空间。
  • 限制处理：您可以为 EarnIt 关闭 iCloud，让数据只保存在设备上。
  • 数据导出：您可以在历史记录页面把历史记录导出为图片，或使用设备的备份功能。
  • 撤回同意：您可以随时在设备设置中撤回权限（例如照片、通知或 iCloud）。

如果您通过邮件联系我们，我们会保存您发送的联系方式及邮件往来内容。 针对这部分数据，您享有 访问、更正、删除、限制处理、数据可携及撤回同意 的权利。 请通过 contact@focusbill.app 联系我们，我们将在 30 天内回复。

欧盟/欧洲经济区用户的额外权利（GDPR）

如果您位于欧盟或欧洲经济区，《通用数据保护条例》（GDPR）赋予您有关个人数据的额外权利，包括向您所在地的数据保护监管机构投诉的权利。由于 EarnIt 仅将您的 App 数据保存在您的设备上，以及（如您选择开启）您个人的 iCloud 账户中，我们实际持有的个人数据仅限于您通过邮件发送给我们的内容。针对这部分数据：

儿童

EarnIt 不面向 13 岁以下的儿童，也不会有意收集儿童的个人信息。App 数据只保存在用户自己的设备和 iCloud 中，我们不会收到这些数据。
